The authorized technical services that originally functioned within the structure of the Milta Bodrum Marina when it was established in 1999 became independent in February 2006; since then they continue to serve the yachting community under the direction of our company, Sailor Teknik.
Ever striving to raise the quality of our services, since October 2006 we have modernized our offices, increased the standards of our authorized technical workshops, and, with our expert staff are able to offer the following :
70 ton travel lift, 20 ton cradle, One closed tent enclosure and one inflatable tent, All types of maintenance of motor and sailing yachts (summer & winter), Repairs on yachts up to 25 m, both on hard and afloat; above 25 m afloat only, Major overhaul and modifications, Yacht transfer services (by sea and land), Stepping and unstepping of masts, Removal and installation of engines.
The foremost function of our organization is to provide maintenance, repair and technical support for yachts moored in the Bodrum Milta Marina. However, the level of expertise achieved through training and experience by all our services, those on premises and those located off premises, also qualifies our company to undertake new yacht construction project management.

Off-premises on-call services : Refrigeration and cooling systems, Dinghy and outboard engine servicing, Sailmaker and sail systems support, Upholstery and canvas work, interior and exterior, Liferaft maintenance and inspection, Fire extinguishers; maintenance, charging and inspection.

MTU, Volvo Penta, Perkins and Yanmar marine engines, Yamaha, Evinrude, Johnson and Mercury outboard engines, Raymarine Electronics, Kaya Yelken and UK Halsey sails, Avon, Zodiac, Plastimo and Plastimar liferafts (maintenance and inspection), Tecnicomar Water-makers and membranes.
Work that may require protection from the elements or protection of the environment can be accomplished in our 252 m2 tent enclosure (dimensions: 28 x 9 x 75 m) which is accessible to the 70 ton travel lift, or, for smaller craft, in the inflatable tent measuring 20 x 6 meters.

This workshop is equipped and qualified to execute all types of marine carpentry including the following : Marine furniture design and manufacture, Ship’s interior wooden fittings and furnishings, Galley design, manufacture and repair, Polycore counter/workbench manufacture and repair, Bar accessories, in plexiglass and wood, Teak decks, fabrication, installation, repair and caulking, All types of timber planking work, Glass works (ports, hatches, etc.)
PAINT & VARNISH WORKSHOP
There is nothing like an expertly applied fresh coat of high quality paint to protect, extend the life and enhance the appearance of a boat. Using primarily International and Awl grip marine coatings and paints (but also other brands if you so desire), our workshop personnel are fully capable to satisfy all your painting and varnishing needs, with applications to steel, polyester, wood or aluminum surfaces.

OSMOSIS TREATMENT
As all boat owners know, there is a specter hovering over all vessels made of GRP, (Glass-Reinforced Polyester), namely the threat of osmosis. This usually invisible creep of moisture through the gelcoat weakens the structure and eventually causes separation of layers resulting in structural failure. It is also no secret that early diagnosis makes an effective cure much easier; late diagnosis makes treatment difficult and costly.
International Paints and Jotun Paints, as well as others, have tackled the problems of osmosis treatment with good results and we are pleased to offer solutions through our Paint and Varnish Workshop where the following are applied : International Paints Osmosis treatment, Jotun Paints Osmosis treatment, Hotvac - this heat and vacuum application shortens the time needed to cure osmosis. The most appropriate time period for osmosis treatment is between September and December.
